Mooseheart student chosen for elite band performance

November 7, 2025

Join us in wishing Jeannine Briceno best of luck as she travels to Dundee-Crown High School tomorrow to represent the Mooseheart Band at the ILMEA Senior Concert Festival!

The ILMEA Senior Concert Festival is an event organized by the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) that brings together high school student musicians from across Illinois for a day of advanced ensemble performance and musical collaboration under the direction of guest conductors (professors or professional musicians). Only the top musicians of each school were selected to perform in this honor band.

Outstanding students from the District Senior Concert Festival can be recommended for the ILMEA All-State or Honors Ensembles, which perform at the ILMEA All-State Conference in Peoria, IL (held in late January). For those that wish to see Jeannine perform, the concert starts @2:30pm at Dundee-Crown High School. You may enter through Door #1 of the school. Tickets are $5.00 per person.
