Mooseheart Photo Tour
Our Campus
Mooseheart is a residential childcare facility, located on a 1,000-acre campus 38 miles west of Chicago. The Child City is a home for children and teens in need, from infancy through high school.
The Moose fraternity provides children with a wholesome home-like environment and the best possible training and education.
Explore Our Facilities
We offers a wide range of exceptional facilities designed to support every aspect of student life. From modern classrooms and fully equipped vocational training centers to welcoming residential homes and expansive recreational spaces, our campus provides a safe, nurturing, and dynamic environment.
Our Homes
Children live in one of thirty residences designed like a spacious single-family home. With six to twelve children in each house, these residences provide a stable, supportive environment where students live, learn, and grow together as a family.

Camp Ross
Camp Ross, a project of the Moose Legion, provides year-round camping facilities for Mooseheart children. It is located near Mount Morris, IL, about 70 miles west of Mooseheart. The camp consists of approximately 100 acres of rolling woodlands, fishing streams, lakes, and ponds. Mooseheart students spend vacation time at Camp Ross each summer and during the winter months.
Special Thanks
All of this wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of our Members of the Moose. We deeply appreciate your unwavering support, which helps us maintain and improve our facilities, ensuring that all Mooseheart residents and staff have access to the resources they need to grow, thrive, and build a brighter future.
