What is NJROTC?

The Mooseheart Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) is a high school program that focuses on developing leadership, citizenship, and valuable skills through a maritime-oriented curriculum. 

This class is required from grade 8-12 and is not used as a recruiting tool.  The goal is to instill leadership qualities and prepare students for successful futures, whether in military service or civilian life.

The NJROTC Curriculum

NJROTC is led by retired Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard officers and enlisted personnel. The program’s curriculum includes topics such as:
