Founder’s Day Weekend

One of the great autumnal traditions at Mooseheart is the late October gathering of Moose from Michigan and Ohio to celebrate the life and legacy of James J. Davis.
Mooseheart, and later, Moosehaven, were Davis’ twin visions for the Moose, so the Fraternity always celebrates Founder’s Day, which celebrates Davis’ Oct. 27 birthday.
This year, Ohio and Michigan Moose will gather on Saturday morning to celebrate with Mooseheart’s children. The day will begin with a program at the House of God followed by presentations at Michigan Home. Sunday, Mooseheart students and Moose members will gather at the Field House for a pancake breakfast, where fresh Michigan blueberries are always a highlight.
