Coming off a record-setting year in 2020, Mooseheart’s Holiday Lights Show – the 12th annual edition of this popular area holiday tradition – kicks off this Friday (Nov. 26) at 5 p.m.
A year ago, the show was viewed by 20,000 carloads of visitors. The spectacle begins the day after Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve – meaning this year’s show will run 36 nights. The show is open from 5-9 p.m. each night.
Mooseheart’s Holiday Lights show consists of a 1.8-mile trip through the Mooseheart campus. Along the route, there are a myriad of holiday-themed lighted displays. There are new displays to discover and enjoy, though favorite displays from past years also adorn the route. Holiday-colored floodlighting features on some Mooseheart buildings.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Santa Claus evenings have been canceled this year. However, anyone who wishes to mail a letter to the North Pole can do so from a special Tommy Moose Mailbox at the exit of the show – and delivery to Santa is guaranteed.
The suggested donation is $20 per car. All proceeds from the show benefit Mooseheart.
