Wisconsin Moose Association President Jeffrey Bonnin and Deputy Grand Regent Vickie Draeger happily flipped the switch to light up the Mooseheart Christmas Tree on the front lawn of the House of God Saturday, Dec. 5. It was the 46th annual Wisconsin Tree Lighting celebration, and for the first time at such an event since the late 1980s, the House of God was filled beyond its 800 capacity with students, staff, and more than 400 Moose visitors from Wisconsin for greetings from officials and presentations by students. Among other dignitaries present for the moment included Mooseheart Executive Director Scott Hart; Wisconsin Moose Tree Lighting Chairman (and Mooseheart Board member) Mark Penzkover of the Mooseheart Class of 1984; Wisconsin Moose Association Secretary Roy Weyker; Director General William B. Airey; and Wisconsin-Minnesota Regional Manager Gary Beck.

Mooseheart's TAC (Teens Accepting Christ) Team staged a Christmas presentation for the standing-room only crowd of 800 in the House of God on Saturday evening, Dec. 5.

This year for the first time, the Wisconsin Moose Association has funded the formal portraits for the Mooseheart Class of 2010. After enjoying a luncheon in the O'Hollaren Centre with their Wisconsin Moose visitors, the 24 happy seniors posed with their portraits. At right are Mooseheart Executive Director Scott Hart and Wisconsin Moose Association President Jeffrey Bonnin.
