Dist.) on Sept. 23 received an overview of the K-12 educational
program of Mooseheart Child City & School from Supt.
of Education Gary Urwiler (right). Accompanying them were

In the Pennsylvania Baby Village, a four-home
neighborhood that is home to Mooseheart's preschoolers
and kindergarteners, Rep. Hatcher enjoyed getting acquainted
with four-year-old Breya Glover (center) and six-year-old
Andrue Cunningham. |

MOOSEHEART,
IL, Sept. 23 -- Mooseheart Child City & School
received a visit from its representative in the Illinois
General Assembly today, and after a golf-cart tour of the
1,000-acre campus, State Rep. Kay Hatcher (R-50th Dist.)
called it "a tremendous facility for children of the
state of Illinois and the nation."
Rep. Hatcher
was welcomed by Moose International Director General/CEO
William B. Airey, and deferred to Mooseheart Director
of Residential Living Ronald Ahrens to lead a tour. Mrs.
Hatcher visited the Mooseheart School building, (where
she was hosted on a walk-through by Supt. of Education
Gary Urwiler), the House of God, the Pennsylvania Baby
Village--a four-home neighborhood that is home to Mooseheart's
preschoolers and kindergarteners; and James J. Davis
Home, which houses 10 middle school and high school age
boys.
