Veteran WGN-TV news anchor Robert Jordan prepared to interview Mooseheart Child City & School Principal Gary Urwiler before the Mooseheart student woodwind quintet taped its performance Dec. 30, which appeared on the WGN Midday News, nationwide on the WGN America cable channel, on Jan. 12.

The constantly improving music program at Mooseheart Child City & School received nationwide television exposure shortly before 1 p.m. CST on Monday, Jan. 12, as a woodwind quintet performed on the WGN Midday News on the WGN America cable network.
Performing in the segment, taped Dec. 30 and hosted by veteran WGN-TV anchor Robert Jordan, were:
Marco Namowicz, 17, Clarinet
Amber Chandler, 15, Clarinet
Parker Mitchell, 18, Bass Clarinet
Kami D'Andrea, 18, Flute
Anthony Perry, 12, Flute
They were joined on camera by Mooseheart Superintendent of Education/Principal Gary Urwiler.
