MOOSEHEART, IL, Oct. 19 -- Mooseheart's volleyball team finished its regular season with a 5-15 record Friday night, losing a home match at Mooseheart Fieldhouse to Kirkland-Hiawatha by a score of 25-15, 25-13.
Ramblers coach Koral Evans said she was frustrated with the way the Ramblers played when behind, which they were for most of the match.
``They get down and then they collapse,`` Evans said. ``They're not moving.`` Time is short for Evans and the Ramblers, who open IHSA Class A Regional play with a Tuesday home match with Luther East. The match starts at 6 p.m.
Evans took over as varsity coach in midseason and has worked with the Ramblers for roughly the final third of the campaign.
``If I coach next season, it's going to be different,`` Evans said. ``We have some great athletes and some great volleyball players. I think we'll have a pretty good season next year.``
