This year's 2014 Easter Egg Hunt takes place on April 12 at Mooseheart.

Mooseheart, IL, Mar. 26 The largest one-day event to take place annually at Mooseheart returns on April 12 when the fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place on the school’s stadium FieldTurf surface.

Last year, an estimated 4,000 adults and children attended the event. This year the free event is open to any child from toddler to 8-years-old.

Gates open at 10 a.m., with the actual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for 11 a.m. While the actual collection of colored plastic eggs and other items from the stadium surface takes mere minutes, a variety of activities are scheduled to take place through 1 p.m.

Those activities include pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and indoor activities, including a bounce house.

Additionally, the Easter Bunny will be on-hand for free photographs. Guests must bring their own camera.
